31st Annual El Camino Historic Motorcycle Event

EL CAMINO RESULTS AND COMMENTS!
The support of our El Camino
event was truely overwhelming this year. Vendors, bike
show participation and general admission were all up a good 30%.
Maybe folks are figuring out that Ebay isn't the best place to
sell their parts. You may make the sale, but you miss out
on all the horse trading, wild stories and good old commraderie
that you find at these meets.
Vendor check-in went as smooth as ever with only one glitch in the giddy up which got resolved quickly. As everyone got settled into their spaces, Karen & Lisa and their terrific staff from S & B Food Catering fired up the BBQ and were serving up tasty burgers, hotdogs and chicken sandwiches for a price that can't be beat. Campus police were out on patrol and were happy to report that all was in order. Saturday morning, 6:30 a.m., we had a line up of buyers for the early bird admission of $15. Happy faces streamed by with carts, backpacks, wagons, etc. in anticipation of some good finds. General admission started at 8:00 a.m. and, after the initial rush, we had a steady flow of folks coming through both gates until 1:30 p.m.
This years bike
show was the best we have had in years. What a great
collection of Vintage and Classic bikes there were.
From the Antiques to the Vintage Custom Bobbers, there was
something for everyone. Our judges really had their work
cut out for them this year, but, as expected, they really
stepped up to the plate and did a great job!! Click

Deni & I want to
personally thank everyone involved with this years event,
as without your efforts and participation, this and all of
our shows could not happen. We also want to remind
everyone that without your participation in these events, they
will become extinct, and what a shame that would be. We
can't keep them alive without your support, so in 2007, please
bring your bikes out to the shows and save your parts to swap at
the meets. Ebay will survive without you, but we won't!!
Bator International would also like to thank wholeheartedly all of our wonderful staff members and talented judges. They always do their best to ensure that everyone has a good time and goes home with happy memories. Last, but not least, a "BIG" thank you to our good friend Vinnie Mandzak for donating his time, talent, energy and good humor as our event announcer. We really think he missed his calling as a comedian. Thanks again for a great year, and we look forward to seeing all of you at Hanford 2007. Best Regards to all,
Glenn & Deni Bator
