Dear Friends and Valued Clients,
 
Today, Deni and I are very proud to announce to all of our friends that we have recently joined forces with one of the worlds most prestigious automotive auction firms, RM Auctions and Auctions America.
 
For over a decade, "Bator International" and most recently "Bator Auctions" has been a big part of the Classic Motorcycle scene here in California, as well as throughout the world.  We are very proud to have such a fantastic group of good friends and loyal customers that propelled us to the forefront of our industry.  The name Bator has always been related to quality motorcycles, top of the line restorations and honest and personal care for everyone that we have had the honor to get to know and do business with. 
 
The union of our companies will no doubt push the classic motorcycle collecting world to the top tier in personal and professional service with an entirely new line up of auctions around North America and throughout England and Europe. 
 
My personal service to you will not change.  I will still be the one answering the phone when you call with your motorcycle needs!  The name will change to Auctions America, but all of our Bator International phone numbers will still come directly to my desk and cell phone!  With the RM backing and a full office staff, I will have more time to focus on consigning motorcycles for our new auction line up.  I will also be looking for great bikes and classic cars to purchase outright as well.  No collection of motorcycles or cars is too large for us to either consign or purchase directly, so please feel free to contact me direct with any needs or leads that you have!   
 
After years of enduring the stress of running a brokerage business and several auctions a year plus taking on the care of both our elderly mothers, I am VERY HAPPY to announce that Deni is going to take a well deserved break and has now gladly handed the reins over to the RM auction team.   She is looking forward to finally being able to watch one of the auctions firsthand instead of on the computer down in the office.  The RM staff is very experienced and well equipped to handle all of your technical and legal concerns and will be available to assist you with any questions that you may have!  RM currently employs well over one hundred full time staff members to serve your needs.

AUCTIONS AMERICA BY RM ACQUIRES BATOR VINTAGE MOTORCYCLE AUCTIONS

 

  • Collector car auction house, Auctions America by RM, establishes motorcycle division with acquisition of Bator Vintage Motorcycle Auctions
  • Noted motorcycle expert, Glenn Bator, joins Auctions America by RM team as head of new vintage motorcycle division

 

AUBURN, IND. (April 6, 2011) − Less than one year after its formation, Auctions America by RM, a subsidiary of the world’s largest collector car auction house - RM Auctions, is expanding to include a vintage motorcycle division with the acquisition of Bator Vintage Motorcycle Auctions. The well-respected classic and antique motorcycle expert, Glenn Bator, will lead the new division for Auctions America. 

The company will present its first extensive bike offering at its second annual ‘Auburn Fall Collector Car Auction’ scheduled September 1 – 4, 2011 at its 235-acre Auburn (Ind.) Auction Park headquarters during the famed ‘Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival’ weekend.

“The establishment of a dedicated motorcycle division for our company is in direct response to our clients’ interests and requests,” states Donnie Gould, President, Auctions America by RM. “We’re thrilled to have Glenn Bator on board. His extensive industry knowledge will make Auctions America by RM events the premier venues for both buyers and sellers of classic two wheelers.”

“I am extremely pleased to be joining the Auctions America by RM team,” adds Glenn Bator. “The union of RM’s excellent organization and customer base with Bator’s loyal customers will no doubt produce world-class vintage motorcycle auctions.”

Glenn Bator has been restoring all types of motorcycles for a number of years, with a specialty in pre and post World War I American machines. In addition to his work restoring bikes, Glenn, along with his wife Deni, has operated the long-standing Bator group of companies. Glenn is known for having organized motorcycle shows and staging auctions at such prime venues as the Barber Vintage Festival and the Daytona Classic Motorcycle Auction held during ‘Bike Week’. Previously, Glenn held the position of curator, restorer and general manager for the Otis Chandler Vintage Museum .
